Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems such as gearboxes, bearings, shafts, belts, and pneumatic components.
Ability to maintain HVAC systems & fume hoods by replacing belts and filters.
Address any emergency calls while on the job site, particularly relating to production-sensitive items
Ability to effectively communicate with floor operators to understand equipment-related malfunctions, failures, and general defects
Inspect and replace valves, filter housings and hoses
Hands-on repair experience with manufacturing equipment such as mixers, valves, conveyors, pumps and material handling systems.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
Proven experience in manufacturing environment with mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Document and record all maintenance acts through our online maintenance system
Assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Maintain appropriate documentation such as records and reports in our CMMS system.
Participate in EHS committee meetings and activities.
Participate in and support SDC 5S activities

High School diploma with technical training in mechanical, electrical or Industrial maintenance or 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing maintenance
Strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting and attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and equipment manuals
Experience in working in fast paced settings
Excellent communication skills
Manufacturing, Lab, Warehouse, Office and Facility Maintenance experience
Must be able to work in a fast-paced setting and prioritize assignments.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel and familiarity with computer systems used in manufacturing and warehousing.
