Lead Maintenance Technician

Position Summary The Maintenance Lead oversees daily operations for maintenance technicians and manages third-party vendors to maintain high center-wide operational standards. Key responsibilities include scheduling, distributing work orders, managing inventory, and directing common-area maintenance in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role ensures regulatory and environmental compliance, conducts routine safety meetings, and upholds overall property presentation and standards.

• Manage scheduling and direct the daily operations of maintenance technicians.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to identify, plan, and complete center-wide projects.
• Maintain optimal inventory and supply levels for the department.
• Perform common-area maintenance, including inspecting attractions and servicing HVAC, plumbing, water features, and electrical systems.
• Coordinate marketing event setups.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and air quality regulations, including oversight of inspections, testing, and documentation for emergency generators, fire/life safety systems, hazardous materials, and pollution prevention.
• Lead monthly departmental safety meetings.
• Oversee third-party vendor operations on-site.
• Ensure strict adherence to presentation and operational standards.
• Create, assign, and manage work order requests.

• Hand Tool Proficiency

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)

• 3+ years

• The physical requirements for this position include:
  Below waist lift - 64lbs, Above waist lift - 64lbs, Push/pull (walking) - 50lbs force, Work arms overhead

  - Average of 20 seconds or more per leg, Ladder climbing (ladder) - Occasional
• Valid California driver’s license and continuous vehicle liability insurance, as required for regular operation of a motor vehicle in performing essential duties.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

Base Pay Range: $27.26 - $35.10

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
