Make Technician

Job Location:

The Landings at Northgate Apartments - Irving, TX 75062.

Position Type:
Full Time – 30 to 40 hours per week.

Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Travel: up to 25% required.

Job Shift: Day shifts, including weekends.

As the Make Ready Technician, you will ensure that all vacant apartment units are restored to market‑ready status quickly and efficiently. The role includes performing general repairs, maintaining the property’s interior and exterior, and supporting overall property maintenance.

• Use industry‑specific technology to complete repairs and replacements on time to achieve move‑in ready units within company standards.
• Perform repairs, replacements, and maintenance related to exterior grounds and common areas.
• Identify and correct hazardous community conditions, reporting hazards to the Community Manager and Service Manager.
• Assist in ensuring preventive maintenance programs are followed and documented per BH guidelines.
• Maintain and secure all property‑issued tools.
• Post vacate notices and other community communications, as applicable.
• Understand and comply with OSHA and other safety requirements, including federal, state, and local codes.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• General maintenance and safety experience.
• Basic computer skills/knowledge required for job functions.
• Regularly performs manual, task‑oriented work under direct supervision.
• High School diploma or GED is a plus.
• Must provide own industry‑specific hand tools.

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Full range of motion with upper and lower body; continuous movement (standing, walking, bending, stooping, crawling, climbing stairs).
• Use both hands for frequent grasping and manipulation.
• Push or pull items and reach overhead.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle on site, if applicable.
• Exposure to all weather conditions.

Monday to Friday; schedule may vary. Some overtime may be required.
