This position may be utilized as part of the in-house pipe laying crew replacing aged water and wastewater systems. A high school diploma or GED and two years water and wastewater maintenance or related experience required. A Class A CDL Texas driver's license and a current state-mandated TCEQ Class C Water and Collection II Wastewater licenses also required. Must have the ability to operate a backhoe and other heavy equipment and have knowledge of water boring equipment, pneumatic missiles and other tools / equipment used in the repair and maintenance of water and wastewater mains.
Day, evening or night shift may be available. Will work in the stand-by repair crew rotation as required. Applicants must submit hours of availability with application.
PAY GRADE GG15 / FULL PAY RANGE $23.10 - $32.56 PER HOUR
