Senior Facilities Specialist
We are seeking a Senior Facilities Specialist to ensure a safe, healthy, and secure facility environment to support operational continuity and employee well-being. It manages day-to-day facility operations including maintenance, vendor coordination, and compliance with regulatory standards. The role serves as the primary contact for facility-related issues, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to maintain service quality. Success is measured by effective issue resolution, budget adherence, and timely completion of maintenance and projects.
The work directly impacts organizational efficiency and the experience of employees and visitors within the facility. This role is 5-days/week Monday-Friday at our Irving, TX Call Center. You must be able to participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours issues. Flexibility to support occasional overnight work as business needs require.
- Manage facility maintenance and repairs to ensure a safe and functional environment for employees and visitors.
- Coordinate vendor services and contracts to maintain quality standards and control operational costs.
- Prepare and analyze budget reports, track expenses, and support financial reconciliation for facility operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support audits, compliance, and facility-related projects.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable codes and regulations and update disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
- High School diploma/GED required
- 2-4 years experience in facilities management or maintenance required.
- Experience working in a multi-building, corporate campus, or call center facility preferred.
- Experience working with HVAC or other mechanical systems as well as furniture systems strongly preferred.
- Experience with backup generator systems, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), and Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems in a commercial or critical facility environment strongly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to support employees and site leadership required.
- Vendor management and coordination experience required.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills required.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- At least 18 years of age
