Seeking for a Facilities Maintenance Specialist with experience in facility management, preventive maintenance, and hands-on building maintenance for maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant facilities.

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural building systems.
• Inspect facilities and respond to maintenance requests.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records.
• Monitor inventory of tools and supplies.
• Support facility upgrades and small projects.

• Strong Facility Management skills, including experience with building systems, work orders, and vendor coordination.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, including scheduling, documenting, and performing routine inspections and service tasks.
• Hands-on building maintenance experience, including basic mechanical, electrical, and general repair work.
• Practical plumbing skills for diagnosing issues, performing minor repairs, and maintaining water and drainage systems.
• Carpentry skills for repairs and modifications to walls, doors, fixtures, and other structural elements.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and best practices for working with tools, equipment, and chemicals.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, diagrams, and basic construction or facility drawings.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with operations, laboratory, and administrative teams.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training or certification in building maintenance or a related trade is preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare, research, or laboratory facility environment is a plus.
