Environmental Services Technician

Description

This position is a member of a multi‑disciplinary team that maintains the physical environment of the hospital at the highest level of cleanliness, both from an appearance and infection control standpoint. The role uses basic and advanced cleaning techniques and supply stocking across patient, staff, office, clinic, surgical or visitor areas, including specialized environments such as Surgery, Labor & Delivery, NICU, Emergency Room and other campus areas.

Required skills include proficiency in both basic and advanced cleaning techniques and the ability to work safely in high‑risk areas such as operating rooms and maternity wards. The applicant must demonstrate customer‑service excellence and hygiene best practices.

Compensation is $25.76‑$35.08 per hour, with potential shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

• 1 year of customer service experience.

• Vocational training and certification in housekeeping or related field.
• 1 year of housekeeping or janitorial/custodial work in a healthcare or long‑term‑care setting (or hotel setting) is preferred.
