Responsibilities
As a member of a multi‑disciplinary team, you will maintain the physical environment of the hospital at the highest level of cleanliness. You will demonstrate proficiency in basic and advanced cleaning techniques and supply stocking for patient, staff, office, clinic, surgical, and visitor areas. You will work in specialized areas such as Surgery, Labor & Delivery, NICU, Emergency Room, and Floorcare, and use safe methods for handling medical waste, hazardous, regulated, infectious, recyclable, and regular waste.
You will also operate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, and maintain a high level of computer use as required.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
- Preferred:
Vocational training or certification; 1 year of housekeeping or janitorial work in a healthcare, long‑term care, or hotel setting.
- Base pay range: $25.76 – $35.08 per hour, with possible shift differentials and overtime.
