Job Title

The commune of Escoville, a small community with a human scale, offers a serene, friendly work environment conducive to cooperation. We are looking for a versatile green spaces and buildings agent to contribute to the maintenance, upkeep, and enhancement of the communal living environment.

You will work on public spaces, buildings, and municipal equipment, in direct liaison with the Mayor and deputies.

• Maintenance of green spaces: mowing, pruning, ground-level pruning, watering, planting, alternative techniques to chemical weeding.

• Routine maintenance of buildings: light masonry, painting, plastering, basic plumbing.

• Maintenance of roads and public spaces.

• Management, maintenance, and storage of equipment (chainsaws, mowers, brush cutters, blowers, tractors…).

• Application of hygiene and safety rules.

• Cemetery maintenance.

• Opening and closing of the church to the public.

- Work within a small team, sometimes alone
- Permanent travel to intervention sites
- Possibly irregular hours depending on service obligations
- Activities subject to high seasonality, peaks of activity linked to weather conditions
- Wearing of adapted professional clothing
- Frequent contacts with elected officials
- Basics in mechanics and plumbing.
- Mastery of green space maintenance techniques.
- Knowledge of safety rules.
- Ability to ensure first-level maintenance.
