Lead Cleaner

ABM Industries is hiring a Lead Cleaner to support Facilities & Maintenance operations in our Facility Services division. This role coordinates daily cleaning activities, assigns tasks, and ensures quality standards, safety procedures, and client requirements are met. The Lead Cleaner trains and guides cleaners, inspects work areas, operates floor care and cleaning equipment, and responds to special cleaning requests. You will help maintain safe, clean, and efficient environments in diverse facilities while modeling ABM's values of safety, respect, inclusion, and service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily cleaning activities for assigned areas
• Assign tasks and provide guidance to cleaners on each shift
• Inspect work areas to ensure quality, safety, and cleanliness standards
• Train new and existing team members on procedures and equipment
• Operate and oversee use of floor care and other cleaning equipment
• Ensure compliance with ABM and client safety policies and procedures
• Respond to special cleaning requests, spills, and urgent issues
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs to supervisors
• Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members
• Model ABM's culture of safety, respect, inclusion, and service
