Job Summary
This is a PART‑TIME, time‑limited position. The Position is located at the State Veterans Home at Jackson, MS. The custodianship duties include cleaning office areas or resident areas, working under general direction and following set instructions. The candidate works as part of a cleaning crew and operates various power cleaning equipment. Responsibilities also include maintaining an inventory of supplies and tools and notifying the supervisor of resupply needs.
Routine maintenance on cleaning equipment may also be performed.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a cohesive team.
- High School Diploma or high school equivalency.
- 0-1 year of work experience.
