Job Description

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Maintenance Technician I to contribute to our manufacturing team in Jackson, TN
. This individual, under limited supervision, is responsible for performing complex diagnostics and repairs related to distribution center facilities and equipment. The technician ensures that all equipment in the distribution center is maintained properly by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining facility equipment to OEM standards. They partner with leadership in daily support to internal customers and the maintenance team.

Pay

$28.00/hr, depending on experience.

Schedules
  • A Shift: Sunday-Tuesday, every other Wednesday 7am-7pm
What You'll Need
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 1 year as a technician in a production or manufacturing environment or equivalent year of directly related education
Preferred Qualifications
  • General understanding of facility electrical wiring and power distribution
  • General understanding of mechanical functions / applications
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and prints
  • Electrical troubleshooting ability, with understanding of AC/DC control wiring and relay logic
  • Basic understanding of PLC
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment
  • Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Knowledge of servo, hydraulic and pneumatically actuated equipment
  • Knowledge of INFOR‑EAM or comparable Maintenance Management System
What You'll Do
  • Evaluate equipment failures and provide complex emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment
  • Ensure repairs and equipment downtime does not negatively impact the ability to meet service level agreements
  • Perform complex technical duties, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production/facility machines
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services
  • Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material and make necessary repairs; report any unusual situations to proper supervision
  • Operate motorized equipment as necessary for driving and repairs, including forklift, order selector, pallet jack, floor sweeper, etc.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Help maintain documentation for facility and equipment
