This position assists maintenance resources within the Maintenance Department, providing cost‑effective, fully integrated scheduling that optimizes plant reliability and maintenance expense. The role supports the Maintenance Supervisor by coordinating activities between maintenance, contractors, and operations, scheduling all plant maintenance activities on a weekly and daily basis, and forecasting upcoming activities for maintenance technicians. Additional responsibilities include managing all aspects of maintenance support to improve efficiency, such as enhancing SAP, managing maintenance inventories, and implementing new maintenance requirements.

The role proactively improves production and maintenance performance while supporting the team and aligning with the company’s values and strategic pillars.

• Ensure a safe working environment through scheduled safety observations, incident reporting, and training to increase safety.
• Maintain operations in accordance with HSE procedures, Operational procedures, and work instructions.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in developing the maintenance team in HSE management principles and improving HSE performance.
• Help implement specific HSE tactical plans and ensure technicians use proper PPE.
• Issue daily and weekly maintenance work schedules and monthly activity forecasts.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with cross‑functional groups.
• Attend Weekly Work Order Review Meetings and regularly scheduled Capital Review Meetings.
• Review plant KPIs involving Maintenance/Reliability.
• Document and record all activities via SAP.
• Anticipate potential problems to avoid production downtime.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and determine/implement Corrective Actions.
• Assist with preventive, predictive maintenance and scheduled repairs/overhauls to ensure optimum production and utilization.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with daily production reporting, staffing requirements and team activity planning.
• Achieve PM/PdM schedule accuracy and timely completion of all work orders.
• Support maintenance performance to achieve OEE targets.
• Manage problem solving and corrective action for continuous performance improvements.
• Ensure timely completion of work orders and that jobs are completed right the first time.
• Evaluate team members and provide performance feedback regularly.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of experience in a S4 maintenance level role; must understand JKO’s production/maintenance processes.
• Demonstrates trust, integrity, teamwork, innovation, accountability, courage, and customer focus.
• Ability to multitask, work under time constraints, make fast decisions, manage interruptions, and maintain methodical, tidy work.
• Strong analytical reasoning and conceptual insight.

• Highly experienced in maintenance and project processes, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
