Housekeeper - Behavioral Healthcare Facility

Perimeter Behavioral of Jackson has an immediate opening for Facility Housekeeper. We are seeking an individual who is committed to improving the lives of those with mental health illness.

Perimeter Behavioral of Jackson is an acute and residential treatment facility providing care to adolescents. Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the facility and daily upkeep of public areas.

• 1. Dust, vacuum, and clean all offices, hallways, lobby, entryway, restrooms, and client areas.
• 2. Identify maintenance needs (lighting, repair needs) while completing regularly assigned duties and notify maintenance of such through use of Maintenance Request form.
• 3. Collect and dispose of all facility trash. Coordinate removal of all hazardous and/or oversized waste.
• 4. Conduct inventory of all facility cleaning and paper supplies on at least a monthly basis. Notify appropriate personnel of all restocking needs.
• 5. Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are kept in working order at all times. Lock equipment away from client access when not in direct use. Keep equipment within eyesight and away from client access when in use.
• 6. Assist in preparation for special functions, tours, and inspections.

• Age – At least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Education and/or Experience – High School Diploma or equivalent;
  Previous housekeeping experience in a similar setting preferred.
