Full Job Description I Notes:

The Rest Stop Attendant will be responsible for cleaning the public and office areas of the Tennessee Rest Stop. The Rest Stop Attendant will provide a clean, safe and attractive environment for the public, visitors and Rest Stop employees. Operation of heavy duty motorized equipment; refinishing floors and floor care experience are essential duties.

• Dust mops, wet mops and sweeps floors.
• Collects and transports trash, cleans/relines trash containers with plastic bags inside and/or outside the building.
• Washes sinks and other plumbing fixtures and replaces disposables such as: paper towels, soap and toilet paper.
• Completes all cleaning duties such as dusting, cleaning and polishing furniture; polish metal or other bright surfaces that collect dust; clean mirrors and windows.
• Maintains and stores equipment ina clean, safe condition.
• Strips, waxes and buffs floors.
• Operates heavy duty floor machinery.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
