Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Custodial Maintenance Worker to join their team. As a Custodial Maintenance Worker, you will be part of the Facilities Support Department supporting property upkeep and maintenance across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:Custodial Maintenance Worker
Location:Jacksonville, FL
Pay Rate:$21.19/hr
Shift:Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM, some flexibility required for specific tasks and projects
What's the Job?- Maintain the overall appearance, functionality, and readiness of offices, manufacturing areas, common spaces, and residential properties
- Perform custodial and upkeep tasks to support daily operations and property standards
- Conduct routine walkthroughs to identify cleanliness, safety, or maintenance concerns
- Use facility tools and equipment to support building upkeep and service needs
- Assist with apartment unit preparation and readiness in coordination with maintenance and property management teams
- Minimum of 2 years of basic handyman, maintenance, or facilities experience preferred
- High school diploma required
- Ability to read and follow work orders, instructions, and safety procedures
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment, facility tools, and basic maintenance practices
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites (approximately 30%)
