General Description / Primary Purpose
This is work assisting with the management of custodial services.
Job Function- Supervises the custodial crew supervisors.
- Approves time submittals, ensures all custodial staff are trained in accordance with the Association of Physical Plant Administrators (APPA) cleaning standards and Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines.
- This position is designated as a Tier 2 respondent for campus emergencies. If there is a declared emergency, the position incumbent will make every effort to return to campus when directed.
- Responsible for building inspections
- Maintains custodial supply inventory
- Maintenance of custodial equipment
- Work order submittals
- Coordinate with other departments as needed.
Supervision of 4 Custodial Supervisors
Supervision ReceivedGeneral supervision. The incumbent develops procedures for performing a variety of complex duties within established guidelines; has considerable freedom while the work is in process, and receives instructions on new assignments.
Required QualificationsHigh school diploma and 4+ years of relevant experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.
