About the Role

Join our dynamic team at ANCIENT CITY JANITORIAL LLC as a Commercial Cleaner (Warehouse) in Jacksonville, FL. We are looking for dedicated individuals to help maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our warehouse facilities during daytime hours, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our clients.

This position is responsible for creating cleaner, healthier environments for our customer’s buildings and grounds by performing the following duties:

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided Service Master products, tools and procedures.
• Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, windows, dusting.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.

• Perform daily cleaning tasks in warehouse areas, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free from debris and hazards.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining cleanliness of storage areas.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve cleanliness goals efficiently.
• Complete assigned tasks within designated time frames to ensure operational efficiency.

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift moderate weights.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
• Effective communication skills and a positive demeanor.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

• Constant standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, and reaching.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
• Will provide on‑job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi‑tasked job is a must.
• Contribute to the overall team effort, including being in uniform, dependable and on time.
