Compensation $15.00 Hourly
General Description / Primary
Purpose:
This is work performing grounds maintenance and landscape installation duties, including but not restricted to maintenance of turf, landscape, and irrigation; litter control; and setup for special events. Specific duties will be determined by the supervisor.
- Mowing
- Weed eating, edging asphalt and cement surfaces
- Plant bed maintenance
- Equipment/shop maintenance
- Landscape construction
- Special projects/events
- Participate in special event set-ups and other work
- Assist with campus maintenance emergencies
- Assist with new utilities installation and maintenance of existing utilities
- Manages work orders
- Raking leaves

This position requires a background check. In conjunction with the University's policy, this position may also require a credit check. The holder of this position is designated as a “Responsible Employee” pursuant to their role under Title IX.
