- Inspect, test, and maintain the grounds and surrounding landscape of Mayo Clinic properties ensuring they are free of debris, clean, safe, and in good appearance.
- Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance functions, including lawn care, landscaping, grounds equipment and weather‑related maintenance.
- Assist with emptying trash cans daily throughout the site and performing other porter duties such as picking up litter.
- Operate and maintain equipment for groundskeeping and irrigation (preferred).
- Document all activities in the electronic work order system.
- Physically stand, stoop, bend, lift, climb, reach, pull, and push up to 50 pounds.
- Interact professionally with patients, visitors, contractors, and Mayo Clinic staff.
- High school graduate or equivalent (G.E.D.) and a minimum of 1‑year experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license if the site requires.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English (preferred).

Compensation DetailEducation, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. $20.98 – $29.19 / hour
ScheduleFull Time. 80 hours per pay period. Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm. Weekend schedule:
