Floor Technician

We are hiring immediately for full‑time and part‑time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions at Ascension Riverside – 1 Schircliff Way, Jacksonville, FL 32204. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule:

Full‑time and part‑time shifts; days may vary. Typical hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Detailed schedule will be discussed during the interview.

Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour. Prior floor‑care experience is required.

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor‑care equipment.

• Maintain knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures for floor care, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor‑care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment to clean large floor areas.
• Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Previous experience as a floor‑care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor‑care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
