Job Summary

Commercial cleaner at ANCIENT CITY JANITORIAL LLC in Jacksonville, FL. Work day shift Monday–Friday, 8 am–1 pm (5 hrs/day, ~25 hrs/week). Location zip 32218 near airport. Background check required.

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided Service Master products, tools, and procedures.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Sweep, mop, polish, and dust floors; remove trash; wipe down surfaces.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including using blowers, ride‑on scrubber, and floor burnisher.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Restock cleaning supplies, monitor equipment status, and report maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve cleanliness goals efficiently.
• Complete assigned tasks within designated time frames.

• Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, push, kneel, twist, reach, and lift up to 25 lb.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• Effective communication skills and positive demeanor.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies a plus.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
