Position Overview

Baptist is looking to add a Hospital Housekeeper to join our Baptist MD Anderson Environmental Services team. The Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. Baptist is proud to utilize state‑of‑the‑art UV Disinfection Technology via UV robotic machines. These machines break down the DNA of germs in the hospital environment before manual cleaning of an area is performed, keeping our team members and patients better protected.

Full‑Time, days, 7:00 am‑3:30 pm. Rotating weekends and holidays are required (40 hours per week).

Baptist MD Anderson

Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned, including janitorial and custodial services. Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes a variety of areas including, but not limited to, offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non‑patient areas, procedure rooms, and common waiting areas. Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements. Maintains a friendly and professional attitude. Always follows safety and security protocols. May perform other duties as required.

1–2 years Environmental Services experience.

Driver’s license – DMV.

High school diploma preferred.
