Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, Inc. is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial Technicians.

NAS Jacksonville Commissary, Jacksonville, FL 32212 | Job Type: Part-Time | Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour |

• Cleaning & Facility Maintenance: Vacuum, sweep, mop, and scrub floors and stairways;
  Clean and sanitize restrooms and fixtures;
  Clean sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and bathroom stall partitions;
  Dust and clean office desks, furniture, windowsills, and other surfaces;
  Clean stairwells, common areas, and designated work spaces;
  Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and clean containers as needed;
  Collect recyclable materials and transport them to designated collection areas.
• Supply & Equipment Management: Restock restroom, breakroom, and common area supplies as needed;
  Maintain janitorial closets in a clean, organized, and safe condition;
  Properly use, maintain, and store cleaning equipment;
  Report damaged equipment and maintenance concerns to supervisors promptly;
  Follow proper chemical handling, dilution, labeling, and storage procedures.
• Safety & Compliance: Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times;
  Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines;
  Maintain awareness of cleaning products and Safety Data Sheets (SDS);
  Help ensure facilities remain safe, clean, and welcoming for occupants and visitors.
• Customer Service & Teamwork: Provide professional and courteous service to clients and building occupants;
  Follow directions provided by the Project Manager or Supervisor;
  Work independently and collaboratively to complete assigned tasks;
  Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.

• Previous knowledge of performance-based cleaning or willingness to learn
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Must pass a background check
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience
• Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

• Routine walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and moving materials throughout the workday
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds; items over 50 pounds require a team lift
