Team Overview:
Working with a maintenance technician
Resource's typical working day:
- Morning meeting to confirm work for the day
- Conducts maintenance activities
- Generators - HVAC
- Compressors
- Cooling towers
- Plumbing
- Lighting
- Faulty doors
- Mechanical issues - Planning next day's maintenance activities for themselves and other tech
Licenses/Certifications:
EPA 608
Must Have
Skills:
Maintenance planning skills are a must Previous maintenance experience is a manufacturing facility Ability to adhere and thrive in rigorous safety policies
Nice to have skills:
Commercial HVAC experience highly preferred. Basic plumbing and electric aptitude Boiler experience
Soft Skills:
High level of professionalism Ability to brief maintenance priorities to the client in hiring manager's absence Excellent customer service
Years of
Experience:
10+ years Education h.s. diploma or GED Software skills:
Microsoft office
Interview Process: 1 round virtual (Teams) 2nd round in-person
About the Role:
As a Chief Building Engineer, you will perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repairs of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
