Salary Range: $22.00 To $23.00 Hourly
Position: Maintenance Technician 1
Location: Savannah Springs. our 234-unit multi-family affordable residential community located in Jacksonville, FL 32244.
Work Schedule
:
Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm, 30-minute or 1 hour unpaid lunch break daily, weekend rotation shifts required.
What we Offer:
- Competitive hourly base pay, 40 hours per week, full time
- Automatic quarterly pay increases for all Maintenance Tech's following completion of first 90-days, $40.00 per month personal cell phone allowance
- Eligible for annual discretionary bonus at year-end
- If you do not currently have your EPA I & II, but have the right experience, drive and skills to join our team, we may sponsor (and pay) for your EPA I & II within your first 75-days of hire. Details discussed during interview process.

Responsibilities:
- Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
- Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
- Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
- Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
- Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
- Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
- Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
- Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
- Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
- Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
- Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
Requirements:
- Education:
- High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
- Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
- Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Skills &
Certifications:- EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
- Valid Driver's License required
- Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
