campus/center location: downtown campus department: dc custodial date position available: immediately review date: september 8, 2026 salary: $30,000.00 flsa: non-exempt what you'll do employees in this category perform routine custodial and/or grounds maintenance work, depending on area of assignment. Employees in this class work with considerable independence. Incumbent is capable of exercising independent judgment regarding manner, method, and materials to apply for a given assignment/work order.
Some record keeping may be required.
at a minimum the selected candidate must have high school diploma or high school equivalency with demonstrated ability to read and comprehend standard english. Additionally the preferred candidate will have knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety data sheets.
