Facilities Maintenance

Our client, a leader in facility operations and maintenance, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities department supporting the organization’s operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

• Perform routine building and grounds maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, painting, and drywall repairs.
• Implement preventative maintenance measures to ensure optimal operation of facility systems.
• Conduct daily visual and physical inspections of the facility and supporting equipment.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies to ensure readiness for maintenance tasks.
• Oversee work from outside contractors and service providers such as plumbers and electricians, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with industrial air compressor systems, process water chillers, cooling towers, fire suppression, and alarm systems.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and hand trucks; experience with machine shop tools is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English, with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
