What To Expect
Performs a wide range of cleaning tasks using industrial type equipment in an assigned block of occupant quarters and common areas and provides numerous types of customer service.
Takes inventory of the furnishings daily, replaces light bulbs as needed in table/floor lamps, and reports all maintenance discrepancies to supervisor. Required to read housekeeping checkout reports to determine daily workload.
May be assigned to any Marine Corps Hospitality Services facility on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
May be required to work a fluctuating work schedule to complete the mission to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance.
Work is normally performed indoors under normal conditions, some duties required may be outside and will expose incumbent to heat, cold, and varying types of weather.
This position is designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (nature or man-made disaster) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
