- Perform routine commercial cleaning tasks according to established standards and site checklists.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms.
- Properly handle spills using approved cleaning methods and equipment.
- Remove trash and maintain clean, organized common areas.
- Identify and report maintenance or supply needs.
- Follow site‑specific instructions, safety procedures, and quality expectations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily.
- Clean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basis.
- Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees.
- Secure the building by locking doors once cleaning is complete.
- Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in janitorial services.
- Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Excellent stamina and physical health.
- Hard worker with high attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Strong reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Respect for client spaces, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Professional attitude and willingness to accept feedback.
