Head Maintenance At Jamestown High School
Jamestown Public School District has an opening for Head Maintenance at Jamestown High School. This is a full-time position working 12 months a year. Benefits include state retirement, health insurance, life insurance, paid leaves, and more. Starting wage for this position is $20.63/hour to $21.33/hour, depending on experience.
The High School Head Maintenance position is responsible for coordinating building-level maintenance operations to ensure the safe, efficient operation of facility systems, equipment, and grounds at the high school. This role performs preventive maintenance, minor repairs, equipment monitoring, and custodial coordination while supporting the Director of Maintenance in maintaining safe and functional facilities.
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in building maintenance or related field preferred. Working knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, building automation systems, and general building maintenance. Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more on a regular basis. Ability to operate maintenance equipment including skid steer, lifts, and related machinery. Effective communication and organizational skills. Ability to respond to emergency situations and be on call as needed.
Valid driver's license required.
