Cleaning Professional — Jamestown Team

Coastal Home Cleaning and Organizing is growing, and we're looking for a reliable, hardworking Cleaning Professional to join our Jamestown team!

Coastal Home Cleaning and Organizing is a women-owned and women-led local company providing professional residential cleaning and home services in Newport County and some parts of mainland Rhode Island. We're a quickly growing company that values quality work, reliability, professionalism, and treating both our clients and employees with respect.

Our Jamestown team primarily services Jamestown and North Kingstown
, with opportunities to work in Newport and Middletown when the Newport team has overflow. There are also opportunities for additional out-of-area work for employees interested in picking up extra hours.

This position will primarily involve residential cleaning, with opportunities to provide our new Home Reset services as that service launches this fall.

Residential Cleaning

• Perform recurring residential cleanings and deep-cleaning services

• Follow company cleaning standards and procedures

• Maintain attention to detail while working efficiently

• Communicate professionally with clients and team members

• Care for clients' homes and belongings with respect

• Properly use and maintain cleaning products and equipment

Home Reset Services

• Complete client-prioritized household tasks within the scheduled service time

• Work through tasks according to the client's priorities

• Assist with household resets such as laundry folding and putting away, dishes, playroom resets, pantry and cabinet tidying, unpacking and putting items away, post-host resets, and other designated household tasks

• Shift between cleaning and home-support tasks based on client needs

• Professional and respectful in clients' homes

• Able to follow directions and established procedures

• Physically capable of performing residential cleaning duties

• Comfortable traveling between service locations

• Someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a professional team

Professional cleaning experience is a plus, but not required. We will train the right person.

• Reliable personal transportation is required

• Valid driver's license

• Ability to travel between client homes

• Ability to meet the physical demands of residential cleaning and Home Reset services

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Training rate: $18/hour

After successful completion of training, employees are promoted to $19/hour
, with a position pay cap of $20/hour
.

We are looking for someone interested in 20-30 hours per week initially with room for growth as the company continues to grow.

Our typical work schedule is Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
, with actual hours dependent on the employee's schedule and client assignments.

Additional hours may be available through out-of-area work and team overflow.
