Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team, focusing on welding plates to beams and columns for large structures nationwide. Your expertise in welding will contribute to the creation of essential structural components.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks using Flux-core and MIG welding techniques on rails and stairs.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints and weld symbols to ensure precise execution.
• Measure and cut materials accurately using a tape measure.
• Work with large structural beams, ensuring perfect welds for structural integrity.

Work Environment

Work in a large steel mill environment on the 1st shift from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 5:30 am to 3:00 pm on Friday, totaling 49 mandatory hours per week. Engage in structural steel fabrication on a grand scale with a focus on quality and precision.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Somerset, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
