Position Overview
The Floor Technician is primarily responsible for performing the day‑to‑day activities of the Environmental Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning floors, including sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc.
- Ensuring proper safety signs are set up prior to performing floor cleaning activities.
- Cleaning carpets, including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
- Cleaning walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorizing.
- High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
