Grounds Technician II

If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in your work, and have experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance, we'd love to have you join our team.

As a Grounds Maintenance Technician, you'll help maintain the appearance and safety of our hospital campuses year-round. From caring for landscaped areas and maintaining parking lots to snow removal and equipment operation, your work plays an important role in supporting exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do

* Maintain hospital grounds, parking lots, sidewalks, driveways, and landscaped areas.

* Plant, prune, trim, fertilize, and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscaping.

* Operate lawn mowers, tractors, sweepers, and other grounds maintenance equipment.

* Remove snow and ice and apply ice melt to keep walkways and parking areas safe.

* Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on grounds equipment.

* Complete preventive maintenance and work orders accurately and efficiently.

* Help ensure hospital properties remain safe, clean, and inviting throughout every season.

What You'll Bring

* High school diploma or GED.

* Two years of nursery, landscaping, or commercial grounds maintenance experience preferred.

* Valid driver's license and the ability to safely operate grounds maintenance equipment.
