Environmental Services Lead

A Brief Overview

The Environmental Services Team Leader is a working leader responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Environmental Services department. Under the direction of the Environmental Services Supervisor, this role helps ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and employees while providing leadership and guidance to department team members.

What You Will Do

* Lead daily workflow by prioritizing assignments, monitoring department activities, and supporting patient throughput

* Perform quality audits and inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met

* Provide coaching, training, and support to Environmental Services team members

* Ensure compliance with infection prevention practices, PPE requirements, and hospital policies

* Perform Environmental Services duties, including cleaning, waste processing, and maintaining department areas

* Support emergency response procedures, recycling initiatives, and facility operations

What You Bring

* High School Diploma or GED required

* Minimum of one year of Environmental Services experience required

* Experience with computer systems such as work order systems, EPIC, or training platforms is preferred
