Under the direct supervision of the Service Manager – Laundry, the Service Leader – Laundry assists in directing and maintaining all aspects of the operations of the laundry department and the Uniform/Linen Room in accordance with established standards.
Responsibilities- Conduct daily staff briefings.
- Attend and report all relevant activities of the department.
- Conduct quality inspections of all Laundry, Linen and Uniform Room.
- Give regular feedback to supervised staff as may be appropriate.
- Ensure that staff adhere to the rules and regulations of the Hotel.
- Coordinate with outside vendor for washing all linen except guest laundry.
- Monitor colleague productivity as per the Hotel standard.
- Oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of the overall Hotel areas.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Laundry operations of a five-star hotel with a minimum of 200 rooms, or in a large commercial laundry.
- Written and verbal English skills.
- Computer skills.
