Job Summary - Under the general supervision of the Executive Housekeeper the Service Manager – Laundry is responsible for the general administration and operation of the Laundry Department (including Linen/Uniform Section), and provides supervision, direction and leadership to ensure efficient and customer-oriented service in the Laundry department.

Responsibilities- Lead and manage the daily operations of the Laundry Department, ensuring high-quality cleaning standards for guest laundry, linens, and uniforms.
- Implement preventive maintenance, hygiene, and safety procedures for laundry equipment and chemical usage.
- Manage budgets, cost control, and inventory of linen, chemicals, and operating supplies.
- Train, develop, and motivate team members to deliver consistent service in line with Shangri-La standards.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety guidelines, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Collaborate with Housekeeping, F&B, Health Club, and other departments to meet operational needs.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and handle complaints related to laundry services promptly and professionally.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of productivity, efficiency, and guest service.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel laundry operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Certificate in Hotel Management, Technical School, or equivalent professional training.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Good health, professional appearance, and articulate communication skills.
- Computer literate with knowledge of textile care, laundry equipment, and chemical usage.
