Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Pay Rate: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour

Our client is seeking a dependable, hands-on Facility Maintenance Technician to support general facility maintenance and workplace organization in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of general maintenance experience who is a self-starter, takes pride in keeping a facility clean, safe, and organized, and is eager to learn new skills. The successful candidate will assist with facility repairs, maintenance projects, warehouse organization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a long-term, ongoing contract opportunity with the potential for additional responsibilities and new opportunities as they arise.

• Perform general facility maintenance, including minor repairs, painting, and upkeep of warehouse infrastructure.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address safety hazards and maintenance needs.
• Safely operate basic hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance tasks.
• Organize tools, equipment, and materials to maintain an efficient and accessible workspace.
• Assist with the setup, repair, and maintenance of offices, workstations, shelving, and storage systems.
• Collaborate with maintenance and warehouse personnel to maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Complete and maintain documentation related to maintenance activities, inspections, and 5S audits.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on workplace organization, safety, and efficiency.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with additional maintenance projects and responsibilities as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of general maintenance or facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Technical training or maintenance certifications are a plus.
• Experience using basic hand tools and power tools safely.
• Familiarity with warehouse or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Understanding of 5S methodology, workplace organization, and lean principles is a plus.
• Ability to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to learn new skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Fast-paced warehouse environment. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Use of hand tools, power tools, and required PPE. May require working around warehouse equipment and active production or material handling areas. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
