The Warehouse Production Lead performs supervisory and management responsibilities while overseeing production unloading assignments. Leads distribute unloading assignments to handlers, coordinate unloading activities, manage completion of administrative paperwork, and ensure compliance with all FHI policies and procedures.
It is a local, non‑travel position; candidates must reside in the area.
Responsibilities- Adaptability and the ability to handle high‑pressure situations.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and customer service to meet customer demands.
- Safely and efficiently unload tractor trailers delivering products to distribution warehouses.
- Use a variety of forklifts to remove products from trailers.
- Break down pallets and restack cases onto new pallets.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education is not a strict requirement; skills and experience are valued more.
- Experience in managing and leading a team.
- Strong leadership, organization, problem‑solving, and technical skills to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with team members, other departments, suppliers, and customers.
- Willingness to work the required schedule and ability to speak and write English.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment and interact respectfully and courteously with associates, co‑workers, management, and customers.
- Production pay or hourly base rate, whichever is greater.
- Daily stipend allowance for lead duties.

This safety‑sensitive position requires constant alertness in a warehouse environment with extreme heat and cold temperatures.
Physical Demands- Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and squat most of the workday.
- Handle cases weighing 25 to 95 pounds and manage 50 to 200+ pallets per day.
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech or machinery alarms in moderate to loud environments.
