Food and Beverage Manager – Fourways – Hospitality & Conference Industry- R35 000 – R40 000

Based in Fourways, this permanent position places you at the centre of a busy hotel, spa, and conference environment where revenue growth, cost control, and guest experience excellence matter every day.

You will lead restaurant, bar, and large-scale event catering operations while shaping service standards across weddings, corporate conferences, and leisure dining. About the Company

Our client is an established Fourways-based resort-style hotel, spa and high-capacity conference centre operating since 1952. The property serves corporate conferences, weddings, leisure guests and wellness visitors through an integrated accommodation, events and food & beverage model. Its competitive strength lies in offering conferencing, banqueting, restaurants, and spa facilities on one campus, creating consistent demand and cross-selling opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant, bar and banqueting operations

  • Manage conference and wedding catering for high-volume events

  • Drive food and beverage revenue while controlling food cost and margins

  • Lead, train and schedule F&B teams

  • Ensure hygiene, safety and brand compliance standards

Requirements

  • 5–7 years’ Food and Beverage management experience

  • Proven experience in high-volume banqueting and conference catering

  • Strong financial management skills (budgets, GP%, cost control)

  • Experience leading large hospitality teams

Experience & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or Food & Beverage Management

  • Experience in hotel, resort or conference centre environment

  • Knowledge of POS systems and inventory control

  • Budgeting, forecasting and supplier negotiation experience

  • Strong understanding of health and safety compliance
