Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable maintenance professional to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining safe, clean, and functional facilities by performing routine repairs, responding to maintenance needs, and supporting the upkeep of building systems, equipment, and grounds. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to completing quality work in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, fixtures, and facilities.
- Inspect property, work areas, and equipment regularly to identify repair needs, safety concerns, or maintenance issues.
- Flip units - after a renter departs get the unit ready for the next renter, this could include some painting, drywall repair, removing items left, etc.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, service tickets, and urgent repair needs.
- Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and general repair tasks as appropriate.
- Maintain clean, safe, and functional common areas, work spaces, grounds, and storage areas.
- Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies safely and responsibly.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and document completed work accurately.
- Coordinate with supervisors, vendors, contractors, or property staff for larger repairs or specialized services.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards, company policies, and applicable regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred depending on the role.
- Previous experience in a related position, customer service environment, administrative role, operations role, or relevant field preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Basic proficiency with common workplace technology, including email, spreadsheets, and document tools.
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new processes.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Customer-focused approach and commitment to quality.
- Reliability, integrity, and strong follow-through.
