Monday–Friday | 7:00am–4:00pm
Pay: $21.34 per hour

Full-time

The Maintenance 1 Technician supports plant operations by performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and assisting higher‑level mechanics. This role follows established work methods and safe work practices to ensure equipment reliability, efficiency, and workplace safety. Maintenance experience is preferred but not required.

• Perform daily, weekly, and preventative maintenance checks.
• Assist higher‑level mechanics with mechanical repairs and breakdowns.
• Learn equipment identification, purpose, and standard operating procedures.
• Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on DCP mills, including:
  • Changing filters
  • Adding media
• Inspect and maintain the ice conveying system.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on:
  • Boiler systems
  • Air compressors
  • Air dryers
  • Water softener systems
• Inspect and maintain various scrubber systems throughout the plant.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on flusher vacuum systems.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn mechanical systems and plant equipment.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Demonstrate safe work habits at all times.
