Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Maintenance Manager
Position Overview
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead dynamic maintenance teams across the plant, facilities, utilities, and powerhouse, ensuring equipment reliability and production efficiency through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Lead teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventative maintenance, machine repairs, and employee training on safety procedures.
- Coordinate maintenance planning and scheduling with Production to address equipment and facility repairs, and develop effective maintenance systems (TPM, SOPs, preventive/predictive maintenance, etc.).
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance performance, supplier and contractor performance, equipment reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness, and provide regular status reports.
- Ensure compliance with USDA regulations and maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory.
- Assume crisis management and continuity responsibilities in the absence of key personnel.
- Drive a positive employee experience through coaching, development, and empowerment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience leading teams through training, coaching, or project management.
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills for high‑level process issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Availability to work long hours and weekends as needed.
- Advanced technical skills in ammonia refrigeration, high‑pressure boiler, compressed air, mechanical, electrical, PLCs, instrumentation.
- Knowledge of maintenance systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM, inventory, and scheduling software.
- Strong leadership skills including conflict resolution, facilitation, change management, decision‑making, empowerment, and delegation.
- Effective planning and prioritization abilities.
- Strong teamwork skills in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Respectful, approachable, and team‑oriented leadership style.
- Fluency in a second language is preferred.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Maintenance Department.
- Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
- Handle hiring, training, performance appraisal, rewarding, disciplining, and resolution of employee complaints.
Annual Salary: $67,500–$100,500. Classification:
IndSPR‑M/E. Relocation package available:
