The Janitorial Supervisor (Experienced) role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in the Greater Chicago Area. This role oversees daily janitorial operations, ensuring facilities are cleaned and maintained to company standards, including restrooms, common areas, offices, and specialized spaces. The supervisor coordinates and leads janitorial staff, assigns tasks, provides on‑the‑job training, and monitors performance to maintain quality and safety. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include inspecting work areas, managing cleaning supplies and equipment, responding to client requests, and addressing any service issues promptly.

The Janitorial Supervisor also supports basic administrative tasks such as scheduling shifts, documenting incidents, and working with management to improve processes and client satisfaction.

• Strong experience in commercial janitorial services, with the ability to maintain high cleanliness and safety standards.
• Proficiency in customer service, including communicating with crew members, addressing concerns, and maintaining professional relationships.
• Experience training team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and use of equipment.
• Background in sales or client‑facing roles is beneficial for identifying service opportunities and supporting account retention.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience in cleaning, facilities, or related fields.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and OSHA or local safety regulations.
• Ability to work on‑site, stand and move for extended periods, and perform occasional lifting as required by the role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in custodial services or facility management are a plus.
