Job Duties:

• Sanitize and deep clean patient rooms and hospital common areas
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and clean windows
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Move beds and lift mattresses to clean underneath and around them
• Interact professionally with patients, visitors, and hospital staff
• Wear your own scrubs with pride and show up with a can-do attitude

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience is beneficial

Experience Requirements:

• Ability to safely use common cleaning equipment, tools, and cleaning products
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and workplace safety
• Ability to work independently while following cleaning schedules and established procedures
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Dependable work habits and a commitment to maintaining clean, professional facilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience cleaning commercial, industrial, office, healthcare, educational, or manufacturing facilities is preferred
• Experience operating floor care equipment, buffers, scrubbers, or other custodial equipment is beneficial
• Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical usage, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety practices is considered an asset
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and pride in their work are well positioned for success as a Hospital Custodian

Physical Capabilities:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to lift cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver cleaning carts and equipment
• Ability to work in a variety of indoor environments while following established safety procedures
