Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

Commission Details- Exempt: Commission potential from $0.50 to $10.00 for each Membership you sell, and from $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass you sell. Paid out bi‑weekly (unless state law requires otherwise).
- Non‑Exempt: Commission potential from $2.00 to $8.00 for each Membership you sell, and from $0.60 to $2.40 for each Fun Pass you sell. Paid out bi‑weekly (unless state law requires otherwise).
As a Game Room Technician / Technical Manager, you will maintain and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and technological equipment throughout the Chuck
E. Cheese experience. Your responsibilities include daily preventive maintenance, repair, and inventory management of game, kitchen, register, and stage‑show equipment.
- Oversee video and skill games, kitchen equipment, register systems, and coin and ticket mechanisms.
- Oversee arcade games, registers, IT systems, and ticket dispensers.
- Manage electrical and mechanical aspects, performing daily preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective electronic components, boards, and computers.
- Operate stage‑show equipment and manage repairs and preventive maintenance (compressor, lighting, sound, pneumatics, valves, cylinders, boards, cosmetics).
- Maintain an inventory of electronic equipment, mechanical parts, and tools.
- Maintain a budget.
- Maintain a safety‑focused attitude at all times.
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot to the component board level.
- Planning, organization, and multi‑tasking skills.
- Attention to detail and time management.
- Sense of urgency.
- Military experience, a technical degree, or prior electrical or mechanical training is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Able to work up to 45 hours per week.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Lift or carry objects weighing 0–50 pounds during the scheduled shift.
- Stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat during the scheduled shift.
- Handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and team members.
- The work environment includes flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noise.
