The Juneau School District is now accepting applications for the position of substitute custodian. This role involves cleaning the interior and exterior of the assigned facility, along with adjacent grounds and walkways, and performing minor maintenance as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Clean interior and exterior of assigned facility
- Maintain adjacent grounds and walkways
- Perform minor maintenance tasks
- Read, understand, and speak basic English
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Valid Alaska Driver's License
- Prior custodial experience
- Knowledge of custodial methods and equipment
Hourly/temporary as needed, starting at $20 per hour.
Applicants will be fingerprinted at their expense and submitted for a background check with the Alaska State Troopers and the FBI.
