Maintenance Service Worker - Grounds​/Landscaping

Position Responsibilities

The Grounds Crew Member supports Facilities Services by maintaining a safe, functional, and visually appealing campus. Responsibilities include landscaping, groundskeeping, ornamental plant care, lawn maintenance, hardscape upkeep, snow and ice removal, event support, equipment maintenance, and temporary staff training.

Take pride in campus maintenance, demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, teamwork, adaptability to weather and operational needs, and a proactive approach to safety and beautification.

• Three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Unrestricted Alaska driver’s license and a clean driving record compliant with UA Safe Driving criteria.

This full‑time, non‑exempt staff position is located on the UAS campus in Juneau.
