The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Division of Facilities Services is looking for a Facilities Manager 2 to help us Keep Alaska Moving!
What you will be doing:
As a Facilities Manager 2 with the Division of Facilities Services, you will play a key role in managing and supporting the Juneau Hub's state-owned facilities. This position provides leadership in facility operations, maintenance coordination, project planning, tenant improvements, and contracted services. You will work closely with state agencies, contractors, maintenance staff, and leadership to ensure facilities are safe, functional, well-maintained, and able to support agency operations.
This advanced journey-level position requires independent decision-making, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities across a diverse facility portfolio. You will assist agencies with space planning, moves, remodels, maintenance needs, and long-range facility improvements while helping develop practical solutions that support both building operations and tenant missions. The position also supports capital improvement projects, contract administration, facility planning, and customer service throughout the Juneau Hub.
